Vedran Pavlek for another 2 years in FIS Council Croatia's alpine ski teams' and Audi FIS Ski World Cup Vip Snow Queen Trophy Zagreb-Sljeme (CRO) slalom races Organizing Committee director, Mr. Vedran Pavlek, has today been re-elected by the FIS Congress in Kangwonland (KOR) as a member of a FIS Council, International Ski Federation's main governing body, for another 2 years with 110 out of possible 123 votes.
Other main decisions made by the FIS in South Korea include, among others, giving host for 2016 FIS Ski Flying World Championships to Kulm (AUT), giving host of the 2017 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships to St. Moritz (SUI), giving host of the 2017 FIS World Championships in nordic disciplines to Lahti (FIN) and the host of the 2017 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships to Sierra Nevada (SPA).
